Velkommen til Portåsen 11. juni: Kulturkveld med illustrasjon og tegning

Overrekkelse av Gudbrand Moe og Barbara Voglers Stipend 2009
i regi av Nedre Eiker kommune til en billedkunstner som har tilknyttning til kommunen.
Overrekkelse av stipendet på kr. 25 000 av Barbara Vogler og Nedre Eiker kulturkontors Elin Kjærvik Skomsøy til stipendvinneren Gunnlaug Moen Hembery.

Om vinneren:
Årets vinner er Gunnlaug Moen Hembery som er fra Steinberg og som jobber fast som avistegner i Dagbladet. Hun har
vært tilknyttet Dagbladet siden 2000. Det har blitt en rekke forskjellige illustrasjonsoppdrag og utstillinger gjennom årenes løp. Etter 10 år i England vente hun tilbake til Nedre Eiker i 2005 og har vært en aktiv i kunstmiljøet lokalt og nasjonalt.
Utstilling: Det stilles ut noen arbeider av Gunnlaug på låven under kulturdagene.

Tegninger fra boken "Hytteskogen"

Om utstillingen:
Hilde Diesen utga våren 2009, boken “Hytteskogen” på Aschehoug Forlag, gjennomillustrert med forfatterens tegninger. Illustrasjonene ble vist på Papirbredden i Drammen i forbindelse med lansering av boka, som har fått gode anmeldelser. I Fjøset på Portåsen, under Kulturdagene, viser hun 30-40 tegninger fra Hytteskogen. Ved utstillingsåpning onsdag 11. juni vil hun være til stede og fortelle og lese fra boka. Portåsens venner har laget et krus med Hilde Diesens tegning av Portåsen.
Det vil bli mulig å kjøpe både boken og kruset. Det blir et lite musikkinnslag og salg av kaffe med noe attåt.

Illustration to the Festival of Litteratur at Lillehammer in Norway. The image is one of 6 and is going to be blown up to the size of 3 x 3 meters. The book is the Bible and Adam and Eve in Paradise - or the end of it!
The project is for Grafill Illustration.

Kunst rett Vest 2009

I have been excepted into this years artround in the 13 councils west for Oslo. It was 197 applicans where 104 was excepted into the project. The main exhibiton is at Trafo in Asker and the happening is in September. More info a bit later, when I know more.

Personal drawings for presents

DRAWING: A personal present from a friend to another about her birth on the living room floor with guidance from her husband, midwife and the parrot.

Lots of people contact me to make personal drawings for family and friends. I usually ask them to write down personal details or a funny history about the person. Write me an email if you want to know more!

Exhibiton in Newspaper Cartoonists House, Drøbak

The exhibiton opens Saturday 18th of April 2009, at 2 o´clock. Showing a little selection of prints and original drawings from Dagbladet through the last few years, all for sale. I have called the exhibtion for "Crocked lines - a play with words and drawing". Welcome!

Dagbladet with new layout

From this week Dagbladet is coming with a new layout. I was asked to do something a bit different - which is going to be work in process. This is the first drawing this Sunday, to text of Alex Rosén.
