Litteraturfestival Lillehammer 2009


Illustration to the Festival of Litteratur at Lillehammer in Norway. The image is one of 6 and is going to be blown up to the size of 3 x 3 meters. The book is the Bible and Adam and Eve in Paradise - or the end of it!
The project is for Grafill Illustration.

Grilldagene 2009: "Med fokus på illustrasjon"

Grafill Illustration arranged a seminar weekend with focus on illustration and the future. Two whole days just talking about illustration. Great! We had invited brilliant Steven Appleby to be our main "star". I love his work! He does it all! Draw, think, animate and write. He´s view of the world is brilliant in the world he call "The World of Steven Appleby". It was really nice to meet him!

The Yearly Bookfair in Lillestrøm, Norway





Grafill Illustration was responisible for the stand at the yearly bookfair in Lillestrøm. We had invited all Grafill´s illustrator to send in their interpretation of the poem Steinbrytervisa written by Henrik Wergeland.
52 illustrators send inn a illustrations each and all of them was printed on to postcards.
The stand got lots of really positive response! So we are repeating the success in November. This time with a new illustration catalogue of all the Norwegian illustrators.

IMU 2008: The Illustrators of Grafill Members Exhibition




Place: DogA, Design- and Architecture Center, Oslo
DATE: 11.12.-21.12.2008
For the second year we (Grafill Illustration) arranged an exhibtion for all the illustration members in Grafill. This year it was send in 150 pieces of work, all was showed at DogA, Oslo. 100 people showed up for the opening and we had a very nice evening! Talking about techniques, comissions, ideas…

Grafill Illustrasjon gjentar fjorårets suksess med en ny medlemsutstilling på DogA.
Utstillingen viser både publiserte og upubliserte arbeider, og illustratører fra hele Norge stiller ut. I år har responsen vært enorm og i skrivende stund er det nesten 60 illustratører som skal være med - med to arbeider hver. IMU er en salgsutstilling med illustrasjoner fra forskjellige bruksområder, alt fra barnebøker til avistegning og animasjon. Vernissage torsdag 11. desember kl 19.00.
